We want to share with you more ways to communicate. We started a blog that hopefully can become a great tool for anyone here.
April Goal: back hand spring
Focus: Learning recital routine
Center Floor: Remembering body positions both names and execution. Using our brush in grande battement for higher leaps and kicks.
Across the Floor: Working on technique included in our lyrical dances and Musical Theatre Dance.
Flexibility Goal: SPLITS SPLITS SPLITS (if you are watching TV, you better be on the floor stretching!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Turning and Leaping: Staying on highest relevee with heels lifted and stretched legs in pirouettes and chaine's. Continuing to improve our calypso and center leaps.
Tumbling: Focus on back-hand springs and aerials.
We will work on technique of the steps that our tap/clogging routines consist of, as we will do these steps individually to hear sound clarity of each dancer.
Hip Hop Technique
We will work on the moves that our hip hop routine consists of as each dancer will have to do the steps by them self to show that they know the step as well as the proper technique of the step.
Company Team Reminder:
Please encourage your dancers to stretch daily in splits and they should be reviewing each dance at least once daily.
